The socket can be attached with any of the prong ring based components. The stud may be attached with either a prong ring or a post, as chosen according to the fabric and the garment construction. However, in the case of a reversible garment, attaching both socket and stud with a prong ring based component will allow you to achieve that finished look on both sides.

The 16 ligne stainless steel system has two sockets that the other 16 ligne systems do not have. First, there is a beardless socket. This is much like a normal 8-segment socket with every other segment removed. The result is a socket that is much less likely to trap hair. The second special member of this system is the floating ring socket. This socket is especially useful if the garment is to face harsh industrial laundry treatments such as "squeeze extraction". Both of these options are attached with a prong ring based component.

There is also a special post available only in this line. The large flare post has a larger diameter and a bigger "bell" at the tip. This shape allows the post to penetrate tougher and more robust materials. If you think you may need this post, please contact our sales team for details.
